Five of the dozen acts that took to the stage on Tuesday’s third live quarterfinal of “America’s Got Talent” were eliminated from the competition during Wednesday’s results episode. All of those that were axed had been good enough to make it through the audition process and survive the judge cuts phase as well. But they did not win over enough viewers to number among the seven acts that move on to the semi-finals of season 13 of “AGT” that start next week.
Those that didn’t make the cut were the singers Hans and Joseph O’Brien, magician Rob Lake, and dance troupes The Future Kingz and UDI Dance. Which of the five acts that was bounced on Wednesday will you miss the most? Read our recaps of their performances and then cast your vote in our poll at the bottom of this post.
The Future Kingz: The all-male dance crew did a routine inspired by the music of Kanye West and other hip hop artists that featured mostly break dancing.
Hans: He delivered an unusual take on “Spice Up Your Life” by The Spice Girls that prompted Heidi Klum to liken him to the offspring of Mel B and Elton John.
Rob Lake: The magician once again failed to impress Simon with his act, despite adding elements of danger.
Joseph O’Brien: The shy 20-year-old took to the piano to introduce original song about a girl that he has a crush on back home.
UDI Dance: This troupe recreated a video game live using black lights and synchronized choreo in the dark space of the stage.
