‘America’s Got Talent’ just gave us the cat video to end all cat videos: Simon Cowell says Savitsky felines have ‘cattitude’ [WATCH]

If you ever find yourself endlessly searching the internet for cat videos, you’ve come to the right place. The Season 13 premiere of “America’s Got Talent” gave us the cat video to end all cat videos, as Svetlana and Marina along with their Savitsky Cats entertained a live audience with death-defying tricks. In the end all four “AGT” judges — Simon Cowell, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel — were so impressed that they voted to send the Savitsky Cats through to the next round. “You know why that was so impressive?” asked Cowell after the cats finished their hairball-raising performance. “Because dogs want to please. Cats are like, ‘Make me.’ They had sort of like ‘cattitude.’ I think there’s a gap in the market for this. I thought with my dogs sometimes, it’s like I want to take them out and see a show and this is a show I can take them to.”

Mandel chimed in, “The thing is, we’ve seen a lot of these tricks done by dogs, [but] I have never seen a cat do that. Never. And the beauty of the show is that people come from all over the world to show us things we’ve never seen before and you did that.”

Mel B screamed, “That was brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! I really want to see what those cats are gonna do next.”

And Heidi added, “Obviously I am also very impressed. I used to have a cat and even if I would call her name, she wouldn’t even come inside of the house.” When Howie asked if the cat left, Heidi responded, “Well, she died. She was old.”

In his “AGT” live blog, our recapper John Benutty wrote, “Smartly, the two are aware that Simon is not a cat person, but it’s their goal to change his mind. For their audition they attempt to recreate the tricks we typically see dog acts do — jumping through hoops, rolling cylinders, hopping over one another and traversing balance beams. The highlights is one cat climbing with its two front paws between two poles and another leaping from a high pole into a pillow.”
