‘America’s Got Talent’ preview: August 28 quarterfinal acts include 2 Golden Buzzers and a wild card

Fans of “America’s Got Talent” are in for a treat as the third quarterfinal on August 28 will include two Golden Buzzer acts. They will join 10 other acts competing for America’s votes and a chance to be among the seven to move on to the semifinals. Head judge Simon Cowell hit his Golden Buzzer for singer Michael Ketterer while host Tyra Banks was won over by the acrobatic troupe Zurcaroh. Each of them was rewarded with a guaranteed slot on the live shows. Neither had to audition again in judge cuts. That is when nine of the other acts found out that they would be appearing on the August 28 quarterfinal.

They are the dancers The Future Kingz and UDI Dance; singers Joseph O’Brien, Us the Duo and Christina Wells; musicians Hans and Brian King Joseph; daredevil Aaron Crow; and illusionist
Rob Lake.

The 12th and final act only made it to this stage of the competition by being the producers choice for the Wild Card. That is opera singer Daniel Emmet
