‘America’s Got Talent’ winner Darci Lynne Farmer adds 12 cities to nationwide tour

America’s Got Talent” winner Darci Lynne Farmer dropped by “Today” on Monday (Jan. 15) with some exciting news for her fans. Her nationwide tour, “Darci Lynne & Friends,” which kicked off in Atlanta on the weekend, is adding a dozen more cities (see the full list below). As the talented teen ventriloquist explained to to hosts Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford, “We thought it’d just be nice to just go to a few places so people can get a chance to see me if they didn’t get to come to Vegas.”

After she won “AGT” last fall, Farmer and her puppet pals got a gig at the Planet Hollywood casino in Las Vegas as part of the grand prize package. When those four dates sold out in record time, Farmer’s family decided that she should take her act on the road. They started off with just five cities but demand for tickets has been so high that they’ve now more than tripled her itinerary.

However, as Farmer revealed, she is so happy that all of these new dates have one thing in common. “I’m super excited for that because all of the tour shows are going to be on the weekend, so I don’t miss school.” Among the songs in her sjpw is “Who’s Loving You,” a 1960 soul tune by Smokey Robinson that was a big hit for The Jackson 5 in 1969. She and Oscar, the madcap mouse, gave us a sneak peek on “Today.”
