A year before winning “America’s Got Talent” in the summer of 2017, Darci Lynne Farmer dazzled Steve Harvey with her ventriloquist skills on “Little Big Shots.” Now the talented teen is returning to that series on April 8 as a special guest on episode four of season three. NBC promises that Farmer will have her furry friend Oscar the Mouse in tow when she sits down with Harvey for a catch-up conversation.
A lot has happened to this Oklahoma City native since she first appeared on Harvey’s show two years ago. Back then her sidekick was Katie the Singing Cowgirl. Watch them wow the crowd with a foot-tapping number in the video above.
We did a little digging and discovered that on this Sunday’s episode of “Little Big Shots,” Farmer and Oscar get Harvey’s help on a spirited rendition of the rock and roll classic “Shout.” Farmer certainly has a lot to shout about these days. It was less than a year ago that she came to fame on “America’s Got Talent.” She was a sensation from the start, getting yes votes from all four judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Mel B in her audition. The latter was so impressed that she pushed her Golden Buzzer sending Farmer straight through to the live shows.
Farmer became the third ventriloquist to win “AGT” after Terry Fator in Season 2 and Paul Zerdin in Season 10. Since then, she has headlined her own show in Las Vegas and is currently midway through her nationwide tour, “Darci Lynne and Friends Live.” Upcoming gigs include Cleveland, OH, Detroit, MI, Orlando, FL and Jackson, MI.
