America’s Got Talent” winner Darci Lynne Farmer took time out of her busy tour schedule to wish fans Happy Easter on Sunday, along with her rabbit puppet Petunia. “Hi guys, this is Darci (and Petunia) and we’re so excited because today it’s Easter,” Farmer posted on Twitter. “We just wanted to take a minute to say Happy Easter to all of you out there, so Happy Easter! Petunia’s about to meet the Easter Bunny. She’s a huge fan and I don’t know how it’s gonna go.” Watch Farmer’s video message down below.

Petunia is one of Farmer’s trademark puppets, along with mouse Oscar and old lady Edna. One year ago in Farmer’s original “AGT” audition, she and Petunia became overnight sensations by singing Ella Fitgerald‘s “Summertime.” The 12-year-old ventriloquist from Oklahoma City, OK wowed all four judges — Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Mel B — but it was Mel B who pushed her Golden Buzzer for the talented tyke.

Farmer is currently crisscrossing America on her nationwide tour, “Darci Lynne and Friends Live.” Upcoming cities include Cleveland, OH, Detroit, MI, Orlando, FL and Jackson, MI. See the updated list of dates and venues and purchase your tickets right now at www.darcilynne.com.

Farmer is the third ventriloquist to win NBC’s reality TV show after Terry Fator in Season 2 and Paul Zerdin in Season 10. (See the “America’s Got Talent” winners list.) Audiences love these types of acts as they require a range of talents from the performers including ventriloquism, comedy and singing.

Who will follow in Darci Lynne Farmer’s footsteps this year? We’ll find out soon, as “AGT” Season 13 begins on Tuesday, May 29 with the pre-taped auditions. All four judges are back along with returning host Tyra Banks, who joined the show last season.
