Angela Rummans had a big decision to make after being named the sixth Head of Household of “Big Brother” Season 20. Knowing full well that Bayleigh Dayton possessed the “Identity Theft” power app that could take over nominations, which two people would Angela choose to put on the block? In addition to all of that nominations drama, a new “Hacker Comp” twist threatened to have a big impact on the game. So how’d it all play out Sunday night?
Below, check out our minute-by-minute “Big Brother” recap of Season 20, Episode 18 to find out what happened Sunday, August 5 at 8/7c. 8:00 p.m. – “Previously on ‘Big Brother’!” In Thursday’s live eviction episode, Rachel Swindler was blindsided by her Level 6 alliance, including most notably Angela and Tyler Crispen. This went against the wishes of outgoing HOH Bayleigh, who wanted Brett Robinson to go home and only nominated Rachel as a pawn. We can’t wait to find out how the house, and particularly Bayleigh, reacts to this latest blindside. Let’s get this thing started!
8:10 p.m. – Angela and Brett hashed out a plan to expose Bayleigh’s power app hours before the live eviction. Bayleigh is annoyed that Brett wasn’t voted out of the house. Meanwhile, Tyler, Kaycee Clark and JC Mounduix are celebrating Rachel’s eviction. Rockstar can’t believe this is the fourth time in a row she’s voted wrong. Suddenly, the houseguests are called into the living room. An anonymous voice exposes the “Big Brother Hacker Competition.”
8:20 p.m.. – Everyone is determined that they have to win the “Hacker Competition.” The winner can replace one of Angela’s nominees AFTER the nominations, choose someone to play in the Veto competition, and block someone’s vote at the live eviction. Sam Bledsoe called a house meeting and told everyone to let her win it so she can vow to not use it. Nobody is on board with this laughable plan.
8:30 p.m. – Angela is hoping to get rid of Scottie Salton or Rockstar this week, but she wouldn’t be upset if Bayleigh goes home before she can use her power app. Bayleigh tells Angela that she can’t change the nominations once they’ve been decided. Angela is then convinced that she should backdoor Bayleigh, hoping she will be eliminated.
8:50 p.m. – The competitors are curious to see who gets the “Hacker’s Advantage.” The secret winner of this competition will get to hack the game all week long. Haleigh Broucher ended up winning the power and she doesn’t plan on telling anyone.
8:59 p.m. – Haleigh rocked the competitions and is named the winner of the “BB Hacker competition.” She does a good job of hiding her win and pins the blame on Scottie. The houseguests are called to the living room where the “BB Hacker” told the houseguests that he is removing Scottie from the chopping block and replacing him with Tyler. The houseguests are all shocked, and I give major kudos to Haleigh for pulling off this massive move. She seems to be the only person who sees that Tyler is playing all sides. Meanwhile, Angela is determined to save Tyler and would still like to backdoor Bayleigh. Find out who wins the Veto competition on Wednesday, August 8. And will they use it to save Tyler or Rockstar?
