Even though Haleigh Broucher was Head of Household this week, her closest ally Rockstar Lantry wasn’t safe because rival player Kaycee Clark won the powerful Hacker comp. Rockstar came thisclose to winning the Veto challenge, but it was Tyler Crispen who ultimately prevailed during Wednesday’s episode. Tyler used the Veto to remove his BFF Angela Rummans from the block, so Haleigh had no choice but to put up Kaycee again. Did Thursday’s live eviction result in Rockstar or Kaycee joining Bayleigh Dayton in the jury house? And how did the Week 8 HOH competition play out?

9:00 p.m. – “Previously on ‘Big Brother’!” In Wednesday’s Veto episode Rockstar made the boneheaded move of telling Tyler the answer to one of Otev the Skunk’s riddles. That kept Tyler in the challenge and even resulted in him being the Veto winner when Rockstar later accidentally brought back the wrong answer. Rockstar’s alliance of Haleigh and Faysal Shafaat, who were left dumbfounded by her actions, decided to nominate Kaycee for eviction when Tyler pulled Angela off the block. Has Rockstar’s game finally come to an end? Let’s find out!
9:10 p.m. – Following the Veto meeting Kaycee is slightly discouraged to be back on the block, but as this week’s Hacker, she still has the ability to block one vote at the live eviction. The numbers may be on her side. Rockstar is pouting in the backyard calling Angela a “spoiled bitch.” Sam Bledsoe comforts her and tells her she has the votes. Rockstar goes inside to talk with Kaycee. With tears in her eyes, Rockstar says she is sorry Kaycee will be going home this week. Ha! Rockstar has no idea she’s the likelier houseguest heading to the jury. Rockstar leaves and Angela comes to speak with Kaycee. They laugh at Rockstar and count the votes Kaycee will need to stay. They’re predicting a 5-1 blindside in favor of Kaycee.
9:15 p.m. – Tyler continues to smooth things over with Sam. She asks Tyler if he has replaced her with Angela. He denies it, claiming he simply owed Angela. Tyler and Sam still have a final two deal, which is a huge benefit for Tyler since Sam has done absolutely nothing in this game to warrant any jury votes. Up in the HOH room Fessy is annoying Haleigh. Just as her frustration boils over, he knocks the sink over on top of her. Despite her aggravation with Fessy she still invites him to hop in bed with her. She confesses that she likes him and Fessy says, “I’m riding with you til’ the wheels fall off.” After 54 days in the house they finally have their first make-out session. Barf.
9:20 p.m. – Rockstar notices Brett Robinson has distanced himself from the other houseguests. She takes it as an opportunity to pull him aside. They discuss having a secret alliance that nobody would see coming since they have been at each other’s throats all season. It sounds like an interesting plan, but Brett is just telling her what she wants to hear. He immediately goes to tell Angela, Kaycee and Tyler who proceed to laugh at the Pagan witch. Rockstar asks Brett to help her with her speech this week. He gives her some pointers knowing he will blindside her later. Rockstar, Haleigh and Fessy believe Rockstar is unevictable and are having a good laugh. They’re clueless to what is going on!
9:30 p.m. – “Big Brother” has some time to fill this week and took a trip to Rossford, Ohio to speak with Tyler’s family. His mother says he may look like a stupid surfer, but he’s a Midwestern boy whose never surfed a day in his life. But he IS an expert bowler. When Tyler was 17 his dad passed away and he gave up bowling, but they hold “Big Brother” viewing parties at the local bowling alley to cheer him on. The mayor presented Tyler’s mother with a key to the city of Rossford on his behalf. I have a feeling Tyler is more concerned with getting the key to the HOH room this week!
9:35 p.m. – It’s time for the live vote and eviction! Kaycee gives a boring speech about how much she loves everyone. Rockstar hopes to put some games on blast by exposing the alliance of Kaycee, Angela and Tyler. She tells everyone they will knock everyone else out as long they’re in the house together. Brett can barely keep himself from laughing even though everything Rockstar just said is true. The Hacker (Kaycee) then announced who will be blocked from voting tonight: Faysal. Nobody is surprised. Voting to evict Rockstar: Angela, JC Mounduix, Sam, Brett and Tyler. Voting to evict Kaycee: Scottie Salton. It’s official! By a vote of 5-1 Rockstar has been evicted from the “Big Brother” house.
9:59 p.m. – After Rockstar’s emotional exit interview with Julie Chen, it’s time for the HOH competition! As the outgoing HOH Haleigh is not eligible to compete. In tonight’s competition “Glow and Flow,” houseguests must retrieve “rave fuel” from their barrel, slide across the “dance floor” and fill up their large “glow stick.” The first houseguest to fill their glow stick and remove their ping pong ball will become the new HOH. This is going to take a while and definitely won’t finish live on the air! Find out who was crowned the new HOH and which two houseguests are nominated for eviction this Sunday on “Big Brother”!
