Head of Household Angela Rummans made a bold game move during Sunday’s episode of “Big Brother” by nominating the showmance duo of Faysal Shafaat and Haleigh Broucher for eviction. By doing so, she broke the four-person alliance between the three of them and Tyler Crispen that was created last week. With Faysal feeling “stupid” and Haleigh saying that the end was near, only the upcoming Veto competition could potentially save the lovebirds from being split up. So how did tonight’s Veto episode play out?

8:00 p.m. – “Previously on ‘Big Brother’!” In Thursday’s 27th episode Angela won the “Sweet Shot” HOH competition even though it wasn’t necessarily in her best interest to do so. She then decided to stay loyal to her old Level 6 alliance that includes Brett Robinson and Kaycee Clark by nominating her new allies Faysal and Haleigh for eviction. Elsewhere, viewers finally saw how Tyler and Angela felt about each other, with Tyler admitting that he didn’t want to “throw my game away” for a showmance. Tonight’s Veto episode begins … now!
8:05 p.m. – Following the nomination ceremony, Angela gloated about nominating Fessy and Haleigh. While Fessy felt completely blindsided Haleigh saw it coming. She’s determined to focus on winning the Veto. Sam Bledsoe met up with the nominated duo in the bathroom to apologize to them (even though she had nothing to do with it). Sam hopes Fessy comes off the block before eviction night. Up in the HOH Room, Tyler and Angela are getting gross again, cuddling up in the bed. After Tyler peels himself off of her they laugh about how stupid Fessy is.
8:10 p.m. – Angela tells Tyler and Kaycee that her target is Fessy. Back downstairs, Haleigh and Fessy argue over who has made worse moves. As Fessy mentions every possible thing that could and did go wrong this season, it’s impossible for Haleigh not to laugh. It really is remarkable how many opportunities both them and their alliance members have thrown away this season.
8:15 p.m. – It’s time to pick players for the Veto! Joining Angela, Fessy and Haleigh in the Veto competition are Kaycee, JC Mounduix and Sam.
8:20 p.m. – Haleigh goes up to the HOH room to speak with Angela. Angela tells Haleigh that Fessy is the target because people fear him in competitions. This is actually one instance when Angela is being honest with her. As JC watches Fessy shower, Fessy tries to work some magic and asks JC if he would use the Veto on him. Fessy argues JC has nothing to lose because the others will take out JC next week anyways. That IS actually a possibility JC should consider. Fessy is loyal to JC and easy to manipulate. Why does he want Fessy gone?
8:30 p.m. – It’s time for the Veto competition! Each player is getting slimy balls fired at them from what looks like a series of robot tennis ball launchers. They have to catch as many balls as they can before they hit the ground. Whoever catches the most balls and earns the most points will win the Veto. As each round goes by, catches become worth more points. Round three is the most entertaining because slimy squids are falling from the sky and players have to catch them in their mouths. Nothing like watching these players get some sense knocked into them with a few wet squids to the face. Kaycee and Fessy both play football, so this competition should come down to them.
8:35 p.m. – There has been nothing more entertaining this season than watching JC in this Veto competition. The imagery of him getting nailed in his “galactic bulge” and “graciously hitting the floor with his face” paired with his hysterical Diary Room commentary was a legit LOL moment to behold. Love him or hate him, JC has a way with words that is comedic poetry to my ears. Three cheers for JC and his awful, yet hysterical performance in tonight’s Veto competition!
8:45 p.m. – At the conclusion of the contest Tyler revealed everyone’s point totals. JC and Sam each scored only two points. Haleigh scored 13 points. Angela finished with 16 points. Fessy earned an impressive 32 points, but Kaycee pulls out a major win for Level 6 by scoring 33. Kaycee has won the Power of Veto!
8:55 p.m. – Haleigh goes up to the HOH room to socialize with her enemies. If Fessy truly goes home this week, Haleigh doesn’t want to feel completely isolated. Fessy is upset because he was hoping she would want to spend his final days in the house with him. This is a game bro! Let her try and win you will probably see her in the jury house next week! Haleigh finally goes in the backyard and confronts Fessy’s attitude. He mopes around some more and walks away from her. Send out Prince Charming, Brett to the rescue! The muscle man hops in the hammock with Haleigh and her tears dry right up! If Haleigh loses Fessy this week, Brett wants her on HIS side. Not a bad plan.
8:59 p.m. – Kaycee calls everyone to the living room for the Veto meeting. Kaycee chose not to use the Veto so either Haleigh or Fessy will be walking out the door on Thursday night. Will the next evicted houseguest win the Jury Battle Back competition? Or will Bayleigh Dayton, Rockstar Lantry or Scottie Salton be walking back into the game? Find out Thursday!
