Was Haleigh Broucher or Scottie Salton evicted live from the “Big Brother” 20 house on Thursday, September 6? Unlike so many previous votes, tonight’s eviction didn’t appear to be a foregone conclusion. With Tyler Crispen serving as Head of Household, that meant only five people could vote: Angela Rummans, Sam Bledsoe, Kaycee Clark, Brett Robinson and JC Mounduix. Did they side with Tyler and take out his true target Haleigh, or did they unite to send Scottie back to the jury house?

9:00 p.m. – “Previously on ‘Big Brother’!” In Wednesday’s episode Haleigh and Scottie fought their hardest to win the “Control Your Emojis” Veto competition but it was Kaycee who claimed victory (her second in a row). There was virtually no discussion about using the Veto since it was a foregone conclusion that either Haleigh or Scottie would be heading home this week. Elsewhere, Tyler continued his showmance with Angela while still keeping a close eye on JC’s aggressive game play. So who will be evicted live? Let’s find out!
9:10 p.m. – Following the Veto meeting Tyler confirmed he wants Haleigh to go home, but Scottie is more likely to be sent packing. Tyler plans to make both of them feel comfortable so whoever stays won’t target him. Up in the HOH room, Haleigh tells Tyler that Scottie told her he’s the pawn. Tyler denies ever saying that. He’s a horrible liar and it’s written all over his face. Tyler goes to speak with Scottie and says Haleigh is sketchy as hell. Then, JC joins Tyler and Angela in the HOH room. Angela leaves and JC immediately says he heard Angela running (she flew off the bed and ran to the couch to hide her showmance with Tyler). Tyler lies some more, but JC is not hearing it. He’s grilling the professional bowler and tells him Brett wants to put Kaycee and Angela on the block next week. He’s trying to get inside Tyler’s head.
9:15 p.m. – Angela rejoins Tyler in the bed. They’re alone again and snuggled up when Angela says she is tired of JC. She believes JC is trying to get Brett in his corner to split up herself and Tyler. When asked if he thinks Brett and JC would flip, Tyler said he doesn’t think so. Next, Angela asks if they should get rid of JC before Haleigh. Tyler is getting paranoid because all of his alliances are starting to clash. Tyler knows it is better for his game if JC takes a shot at Angela.
9:25 p.m. – Haleigh and Brett are trying to teach JC how to say “turtle.” After they succeed at that, Brett goes to chat with Scottie in the backyard. Brett plans to evict Scottie, but wants to get some information first about what people in the jury are thinking. Scottie says Bayleigh Dayton and Rockstar Lantry hate Angela even more than Brett. Now Brett thinks if he hands them Angela on a silver platter by evicting her, he might win their jury votes. Moments later Brett brings up his annoyance with Angela to JC. They definitely plan to gun for Angela, but Brett is concerned she has two people in her pocket. Brett thinks it has to be a backdoor because Tyler and Kaycee would both use the Veto on her. Brett wants to nominate Sam and Haleigh and then backdoor Angela.
9:30 p.m. – Season 16 champ (and my personal favorite “BB” winner) Derrick Levasseur is on set to chat with Julie Chen about Season 20. Derrick is impressed with the season and believes everyone is playing hard. He’s most surprised that Level 6 has been able to hold together their alliance and he’s impressed with their longevity. If Derrick had to pick one houseguest that can win, who is it? Derrick said each of them can make a solid argument and anyone can still win. That’s why it’s a great season. Chen asks Derrick about Tyler’s FOUR final two deals. Derrick says if Tyler makes it to the end he will have some explaining to do. He reminds viewers of how important jury management is. Who should Tyler take to the final two? Derrick says Tyler thinks Kaycee is the right choice, but he’s dead wrong. Derrick thinks an emotional jury could vote Kaycee as the winner. Tyler should go to the final two with Angela because at the end of the day juries always vote with emotion!
9:40 p.m. – It’s time for the live vote and eviction! Scottie gave a racy speech and told the houseguests if they vote him out again they can all suck it. Except for Tyler since he’s already gotten plenty. Julie was a bit taken aback before introducing Haleigh, who gave some odd, Shakespearean plea to stay. Then, in a unanimous vote, Scottie was voted out of the “Big Brother” house just one week after he returned. He will now become Juror #4.
9:55 p.m. – It’s time for the live HOH competition! As the outgoing HOH, Tyler is not eligible to compete. In “Shell or Highwater,” players maneuver their pearls down a seaweed ramp to one of three oysters at the other end. The first houseguest to get a pearl in each oyster and buzz in will win this competition. If nobody has sunk three pearls after three minutes, the winner will be the houseguest who sank the most pearls in the shortest amount of time. With almost no effort, Kaycee quickly sank three pearls! This girl is racking up the competition wins and it looks like Brett and JC’s plan to go after her and Angela this week won’t happen. But will she target them instead? Or go after the easy target, Haleigh?
9:59 p.m. – Julie congratulates Kaycee on her first HOH of the season. She informs the house that Kaycee beat Brett by less than one second. So close! Then Julie informs the audience at home that this Thursday is Double Eviction night! That’s a wrap for tonight.
