Sorry, Steve Arienta: 46% of America wants you evicted from ‘Big Brother’ on July 5

If America gets it way, Steve Arienta will be the first houseguest evicted from “Big Brother” on July 5. The retired cop was put on the chopping block late last week by Tyler Crispen who won the competition to be the first Head of Household. The 23-year-old lifeguard also nominated Sam Bledsoe for possible elimination.

We asked viewers which of these two they wanted to see go in the live vote. A whopping 46% of you chose Arienta for eviction while only 13% of you said Bledsoe. If you haven’t voted in our poll yet, do so at the bottom of this post and then sound off in the comments section with your thoughts on #BB20 so far.

In one bit of good news for Arienta, 41% of those polled would prefer that another houseguest be the first to exit. However, that isn’t going to happen based on what we’ve learned from the live feeds. Faysal Shafaat won the Power of Veto competition but has decided not to swap out either of those up for eviction with another houseguest.

Bledsoe is a 27-year-old who works as welder in her hometown of Stuarts Draft, VA. She describes herself as multifaceted, charming, and charismatic. And her favorite activities are all physical: making, building and creating things; fishing; swimming; kayaking; and dancing.

Arienta is a 40-year-old from Parsippany, NJ who now lives nearby in Wanaque where he just wrapped up a career as an undercover cop. He describes himself as stubborn, competitive, and funny. His favorite activities are not too physically demanding: fishing; playing golf; and motorcycle riding.
