‘Big Brother 20’ spoilers: Week 5 live eviction and Head of Household competition on August 2 episode of #BB20

Thursday’s episode of “Big Brother” will conclude with the Week 5 live eviction vote and the next Head of Household competition. We’ve been watching the live feeds ever since July 26 when this week’s HoH Bayleigh Drayton nominated Brett Robinson and Rachel Swindler for eviction. Wednesday’s taped episode of #BB20 included the results of Saturday’s Power of Veto competition and Monday’s ceremony when Tyler Crispen opted not to change the eviction line-up. However, it didn’t show the aftermath of that shocking decision which could well lead to another blindside in the voting on August 2.

Bayleigh had targeted Brett, who came close to being evicted in Week 3. Although he was the choice of five houseguests then, it was the other nominee, Winston Hines, who ended up ousted after six of his rival contestants voted him out of the competition. In the first few days after being nominated by Bayleigh on July 26, it looked like Brett was going to be a goner. But then Rachel, who had been assured by Bayleigh that she was just a pawn and was sure to be safe, had a succession of meltdowns.

Those have made several her one-time allies — including her BFF Angela RummansSam Bledsoe and Kaycee Clark — question whether they want to keep her in the house. Tyler has been working hard to convince them to switch their allegiance and vote to send her packing instead of Brett. That blindside would upset “Big Brother” viewers who overwhelmingly favor the eviction of Brett.

In our ongoing poll, he has exactly half of the total votes while Rachel sits at 29%; the remaining 21% want someone else evicted. If you haven’t cast your ballot yet, be sure to do so at the bottom of this post and then have your say in our comments section.

Whoever loses the eviction vote could end up back in the house if they win the battle back showdown. While this feature has not been confirmed for season 20, it has been a big part of the show for the past several years.
