Although the first episode of “Big Brother” 20 doesn’t air till June 27, we already know who is ruling as the first Head of Household and which two of the other houseguests has been tapped to be put up for eviction. Despite rumors to the contrary, no other houseguests, be they alumni of the show or brand-new to the franchise, have joined the 16 already in the house. And we can confirm that no one has exited either by way of eviction or otherwise.
The first few episode of #BB20 are taped, including the two-hour premiere on Wednesday and the hour-long follow-up episodes on Thursday (June 28) at the usual 9:00 p.m. time and Sunday (July 1) in its summer-long slot of 8:00 p.m. That Sunday show will conclude with a big reveal: the first Head of Household and the two Houseguests who have been nominated for eviction. The results of that vote will be revealed during the first live show on Thursday July 5.
Tyler Crispen is the first HoH. While he admits to being ambitious, his plan had been to hold back until he was sure of his place in the house. His biggest fear about life in the house was establishing trust with his fellow houseguests. In his pre-interview, he disclosed that his strategy for success entails dividing the house in two, and then befriending someone on the opposing team who he’d keep with him till the final 4. We’re looking forward to seeing the turn of events that saw him put himself forward so soon in the game.
Crispen is a 23-year-old from Rossford, OH who now works as a lifeguard in the high-end resort of Hilton Head in South Carolina. He describes himself as resilient, charismatic and questionable. Not surprisingly, his favorite activities are working out; going to the beach; and surfing. His motto: do whatever the hell you want.
To that end, we wonder what his rationale was after he weighed up his options for eviction and opted to go with Sam Bledsoe and Steve Arienta.
Bledsoe is a 27-year-old who works as welder in her hometown of Stuarts Draft, VA. She describes herself as multifaceted, charming, and charismatic. And her favorite activities are all physical: making, building and creating things; fishing; swimming; kayaking; and dancing.
Airenta is a 40-year-old from Parsippany, NJ who now lives nearby in Wanaque where he just wrapped up a career as an undercover cop. He describes himself as stubborn, competitive, and funny. His favorite activities are not too physically demanding: fishing; playing golf; and motorcycle riding.
