‘Big Brother 20’: Week 1 Power of Veto ceremony results on #BB20 and what they mean for July 5 eviction

Can’t wait till Wednesday’s episode of “Big Brother 20″ to find out whether the first Power of Veto winner changes the line-up for the July 5 eviction. Then keep reading for some red-hot spoilers. We’ve kept a keen eye on the #BB20 live feeds and we know who claimed this game-changer and what they intend to do.

The “winner” of the Crap App Faysal Shafaat won the PoV competition, which was a timed taste test. He claimed victory over the two houseguests nominated for eviction on July 5 (Steve Arienta and Sam Bledsoe) as well as Head of Household Tyler CrispenScottie Salton and Chris “Swaggy C” Williams.

At the Power of Veto ceremony, Faysal decided that he would not save either of the houseguests facing eviction. We already knew that Sam won the Power App and can use it to save herself from eviction. However, this power only kicks in after the vote.

Had Faysal invoked his veto, Tyler would have had to swap in one of the other houseguests eligible for elimination (Bayleigh Dayton, Kaitlyn HermanWinston HinesJC Mounduix and Angela Rummans). He has said he was leaning toward nominating Bayleigh as he is still nursing a grudge over her behavior in the HoH competition. That would put an end to her showmance with Swaggy C who, not surprisingly, has been making the cast to keep her.

Tyler expects most of the votes to be for Steve, including from the eight houseguests spared from elimination (Swaggy C, Scottie and Faysal as well as Haleigh BroucherKaycee ClarkAngie “Rockstar” Lantry, Brett Robinson and Rachel Swindler).
