CBS won’t be showing the results of the Week 10 Power of Veto ceremony until Wednesday’s episode of “Big Brother 20.” But if you want to know who won this make-or-break competition on Saturday and what they are thinking about doing at Monday’s ceremony then keep reading for spoilers. We’ve been watching the #BB20 live feeds since they were turned on following Thursday’s episode and know who claimed this game-changing power and have a preview of how this impacts the nominations evictions for the live show on September 6.
Tyler Crispen claimed the title of Head of Household soon after the end of the live episode on August 30. Throughout the following day, he weighed up his options as to which two of the remaining houseguests to nominate for eviction in Week 10. In the end, he chose to go with Haleigh Broucher and Scottie Salton, who had won the Jury Battle Back during Thursday’s show.
Tyler, Haleigh and Scottie all took part in the Power of Veto competition on Saturday evening. Three of the other houseguests — Sam Bledsoe, Kaycee Clark and JC Mounduix — joined them in vying for this game-changer. Each of those three has a tie to one of the week’s nominees for eviction. As Week 4 HOH, Sam nominated Haleigh, who might have gone home had Faysal Shafaat not thrown her a lifeline when he won POV. Fessy was HOH in Week 8 and was convinced by JC to nominate Scottie Salton by portraying him falsely as a rival for Haleigh’s affections. Fessy’s other nominee that week, Brett Robinson, won the POV and removed himself from consideration. In turn, Fessy nominated Kaycee.
Kaycee won the Week 10 Power of Veto on Saturday evening. In the 36 hours since, she has made it clear that she intends to leave the slate of eviction nominations as it stands. This means that Haleigh and Scottie will be up for elimination on September 6. Which of them do you think will get evicted? Vote in our poll below and then sound off in the comments section with your thoughts on #BB20 so far.
