The Week 12 Power of Veto competition on Saturday (September 15) will be the first to be held since the latest twist in #BB20, the double eviction. That change in the game played out on the live episode on September 13 with Haleigh Broucher bounced first, followed by Brett Robinson in an epic blindside. Keep reading for all the spoilers as to what has been going on in the #BB20 house since then, including the outcome of the Week 12 Head of Household competition on Thursday and the subsequent eviction nominations on Friday.
Angela Rummans won a hard-fought HOH competition, which was good news for her and the two other remaining members of the Level 6 alliance: Kaycee Clark and Tyler Crispen. That put the two other houseguests – Sam Bledsoe and JC Mounduix – who are outside of this alliance in the firing line for eviction.
Sam was put up for eviction in Week 1 by Tyler; she won a close vote over Steve Arienta. And she just won both of the Week 11 votes. In the first of those Kaycee had assured Sam that she was just a pawn with Haleigh being the true target. Likewise in the second vote, she was nominated by Tyler but he had his sights set on Brett. After Angela won the POV, she threw a lifeline to JC and Tyler was able to swap in Brett, who lost in a unanimous vote against Sam.
That had been JC’s first time on the chopping block. While he benefited then from the L6 plan to backdoor Brett, this week there is no such strategy in place. That means the POV competition is make-or-break for both JC and Sam. Neither has won this power before.
Compare that to the track of Angela, who will compete as reigning HOH. She has prevailed in the POV twice. She won in Week 6 and saved Tyler and in Week 11 when she rescued JC. Don’t expect her to do that again this week if she prevails.
Kaycee has won for the last three weeks running but never changed the line-up. Tyler has also won the POV three times: in Week 2 he rescued Scottie; in Week 5 when he left the line-up alone; and in Week 7 when he saved Angela.
