Tyler is looking so good on ‘Big Brother 20’ that he can let his Power App expire, readers say

Tyler has had a Power App since Week 2, but he probably won’t have to sit on his Cloud because he’s already on cloud nine in the “Big Brother 20” house. In a recent poll, 83 percent of our readers don’t think he will have to bust out his Cloud app before it expires in two weeks, which is probably not what TPTB had in mind when they came up with this twist.

Tyler has been in such a good position in the house that he’s only considered using the Cloud, which grants him immunity at a nomination or Veto ceremony, once this whole time: last week during Haleigh‘s HOH. Since she had put him up as the hacker the previous week, he proposed that she backdoor him so as not to guarantee he play in two comps, the Hacker Comp and Veto, for safety, but really he didn’t want to have to use his app at the nomination ceremony and leave himself vulnerable at the Veto ceremony if the hacker took him off or something. Of course, Haleigh was planning a backdoor anyway, but it was all, as my Friend Joey Tribbiani would say, a moo point because Tyler won Veto, thanks in large part to Rockstar‘s ineptitude.

He seemed like he was going to be in the danger zone this week with Faysal winning HOH, but JC came to Tyler’s (and Level 6’s) rescue by persuading his puppet Fessy to target his own alliance member, Scottie, because Scottie likes Haleigh. Fessy then made deals with Tyler, Angela and Kaycee, though he had to put up Kaycee as a pawn after Brett took himself off with the Veto.

If Level 6 or any one of Tyler’s allies, JC or Sam, can control the next two weeks, then Tyler is set and won’t have to use his app. Even Haleigh has put him on her backburner, as she wants to go after Sam following Sam’s crazy pitch to Fessy to put up Haleigh as the renom.

But the remaining 17 percent of you think Tyler will be forced to use it since the numbers are getting smaller. If the rest of the house were smart, they would go after him, but he has deals with everyone right now. And as he told Sam earlier, it would be in his best interest if he could just let the app expire so no one else will know he ever had it. Almost everyone in the house thinks the second app has expired by now or someone was evicted with it unused.

Producers probably gave Tyler’s app and Bayleigh‘s app — Identity Theft lasted until the final eight — such long shelf lives to increase the chances of them getting used. And then Bayleigh walked out with hers in her pocket. Sam’s Bonus Life app had a much shorter span, four weeks, because they wanted someone to return to the game pre-jury. Otherwise they wouldn’t have automatically invoked it after four weeks. And then Kaitlyn screwed everything up.

But look, we can just blame Rockstar if Tyler’s app goes unused. If she had won OTEV, she would’ve taken herself off, Haleigh would’ve tried to backdoor Tyler, who would’ve used his app. Thanks a lot, Rockstar.
