On the July 5 episode of “Big Brother,” Kaitlyn Herman won the Week 2 Head of Household competition. We already had her pegged as a savvy player of the game after she’d switched her vote in the first live eviction, and sent Steve Arienta packing instead of Sam Bledsoe. So we weren’t surprised when she revealed that she had a plan to backdoor Chris “Swaggy C” Williams in the second elimination on July 12.
The first part of her plan was to nominate Winston Hines, the current frontrunner to win according to our poll of viewers, and Scottie Salton for eviction. Then she placed her trust in several of the houseguests contending in the Power of Veto competition.
One of her pawns, last week’s Head of Household Tyler Crispen, won the PoV competition. He claimed victory over the two houseguests nominated for eviction on July 12 as well as Kaitlyn and “Crapp” winner Rachel Swindler. At the Power of Veto ceremony on Monday, Tyler decided, with the encouragement of the new HoH, that he would save Scottie.
That allowed Kaitlyn to substitute Swaggy C. Do you think he will lose the live vote to Winston on July 12? Vote in our poll below and be sure to sound off in the comments section with your thoughts on #BB20 so far.
