The July 26 episode of “Big Brother” will include the live eviction of the fourth houseguest. Head of Household Sam Bledsoe had originally nominated Haleigh Broucher and Kaitlyn Herman based on their bad behavior towards the men in the house. One of those men, Faysal Shafaat, ended up rescuing one of them from the chopping block when he won the Power of Veto competition.
Sam, a 27-year-old welder from Stuart’s Draft, Virginia, had singled out Kaitlyn — a 24-year-old life coach from Encino, California — and Haleigh — a 21-year-old student from College Station, Texas — for possible elimination. Of this pair, Kaitlyn was the one America said that it wanted to see go. A whopping 70% of viewers backed her eviction based, in part, on her reign as Week 2 HoH when she had engineered the backdoor eviction of Chris “Swaggy C” Williams.
Faysal knew just how divisive Kaitlyn had been in the house. So after much hemming and hawing, he opted to throw a lifeline to Haleigh. That forced Sam to name another of the remaining nine houseguests to face a jury of their peers on Thursday’s live episode of #BB20. She was all set to nominate JC Mounduix, a 28-year-old professional dancer from Hollywood, but he successfully pled his case and won a reprieve. In his place, Sam named Angie “Rockstar” Lantry, a 34-year-old stay at home mom from Columbia, Maryland.
Sam tried to explain away her actions by telling anyone who would listen that her unused Bonus Life Power App will give whoever is evicted this week an automatic chance to return to the house. Even so, which of the nominees do you want to see be bounced? Vote in our poll below and sound off in the comments section on this season so far.
