“Big Brother” fans are in for a treat in Week 8 with the return of the Zingbot as host of the Power of Veto competition. Various versions of this ruthless robot have appeared on “Big Brother” dating back to season 12. The first iteration, Zingbot 3000, oversaw POV contests in seasons 12 through 15, before going from nasty to nice in season 16 and ceding hosting duties to Kathy Griffin. It returned the following year before being replaced with the upgraded Zingbot 9000 in season 18.
Count on some zesty zingers when the Zingbot enters the #BB20 house on Saturday to host the Week 8 POV competition. It is all but certain to characterize the remaining nine houseguests as a cast of losers. And this week’s Head of Household, Faysal Shafaat, is sure to be one of its main targets.
Fessy’s hemming and hawing about who to nominate for the eviction vote on August 26 dominated Friday’s live feeds. In the end he went with Brett Robinson and Scottie Salton, who will join him in vying for the Power of Veto. Rounding out the roster are Haleigh Broucher, Tyler Crispen and Angela Rummans.
We expect the Zingbot to spare Sam Bledsoe, despite the fact that she was turned into a robot for a time in Week 1. While she started out strong, Sam has had a hard time as of late and came close to quitting the competition last week.
We will be watching the live feeds and will report back with all of the Zingbot insults. If you’d rather not know any spoilers, you will have to wait for Wednesday’s episode, which will feature Saturday’s POV competition as well as Monday’s POV ceremony.
