Can’t wait till Wednesday’s episode of “Big Brother 20″ to find out who won the all-important Power of Veto competition in week 5. Then keep reading for spoilers as we’ve been keeping a keen eye on the #BB20 live feeds since they were turned on following Thursday’s episode and know who claimed this game-changing power on Saturday.
Six of the houseguests competed in an individual competition for the PoV: the Head of Household Bayleigh Drayton; the two players she nominated for possible eviction on August 2 (Brett Robinson and Rachel Swindler); and three of the other remaining 12 contestants: Sam Bledsoe, Tyler Crispen and JC Mounduix.
Sam had been HoH in Week 4 while Tyler had ruled the house in Week 1. Both Tyler and JC had narrowly escaped being named as a nominee for eviction by Bayleigh, who has her sights set on Brett. Indeed, she has told Rachel that she is only a pawn in this game, and won’t be bounced in the live vote on August 2. All this added up to making this PoV competition make or break for Brett.
He lost to Tyler which means that he must turn on the charm before Monday’s Power of Veto ceremony. Will Tyler save Brett from facing the vote on Thursday knowing that Bayleigh will nominate Scottie Salton in his place? We won’t know till Monday’s PoV ceremony.
Do you agree with Bayleigh that it is time for Brett to go or would you rather see Rachel get the heave-ho? Or do you like them both so much that you want to see a substitution in the nominations? Cast your ballot in our poll below and then be sure to sound off in the comments section with your thoughts on #BB20 so far.
