While last week’s Head of Household competition kicked off during the live show, this week’s didn’t begin until several hours after the end of the “Big Brother” episode on July 26. It was a fairly fast event and lasted just over an hour. We’ve been watching the live feeds and can reveal who won this test. All of the houseguests took part except Sam Bledsoe, who was the week 4 HoH and oversaw the eviction of Kaitlyn Herman.
Bayleigh Dayton won and is the Week 5 Head of Household. This 25-year-old flight attendant from Atlanta, Georgia has been one of the most strategic houseguests in #BB20. She is keen to play the game and form alliances. In her pre-entry interview, this one-time beauty queen explained her strategy for winning thus:
“I want to be Miss Congeniality and not be fake or too nice. I want to just be that girl that people feel comfortable around but still dominates in the competitions. I want to stay clear of the drama and let the bombs self-destruct.” Having said that, she also revealed that her father taught her it is a strong defense that wins games so it would be good if everyone fears her just a little.
Going into the house, Bayleigh was aware that people can quickly turn on each other so she was wary of trusting anyone. Given that she often calls people out in real-life, she knew it was going to be tough to keep her thoughts to herself and not show reactions on her face.
