The double eviction on Friday’s episode of “Celebrity Big Brother” sent “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Granville and singer James Maslow packing. The former was ejected when the Head of Household was singer Mark McGrath while the latter fell after being nominated by the new HoH, “The Apprentice” star Omarosa. The result was that only five houseguests remain in the running to win on Sunday (Feb. 26) and claim the $250,000 prize. Spoilers ahead.
As reigning HoH, Omarosa could not take part in the competition that determined the winner of the title of Round 6 Head of Household. That left beauty queen Ariadna Gutierrez, TV personality Ross Mathews, McGrath and actress Marrisa Janet Winokur to fight it out for the title. Mathews won HoH for a second time.
Mathews is now guaranteed to be in the final four. Coming up this weekend, he will nominate two of his rivals for elimination. Another Power of Veto competition could prove make or break for one of those nominees.
From the live “CBB” feeds, we know that he is planning to send Gutierrez and Omarosa to face their peers, with the hope that they send Omarosa packing. Should one of these two win the PoV, he intends to swap them with Winokur.
On Sunday’s live show, there will be a competition among the final four. The winner of that will get to decide which two houseguests go and who they are taking to the final two, with the ultimate champion then crowned by the evicted houseguests.
