In the final moments of the “Celebrity Big Brother” premiere on Wednesday (Feb. 7), host Julie Chen revealed a new twist in the game: the Right to Recast. All 11 houseguests were given a swag bag and one of them will look inside to find this prize, which will allow them to replace Shannon Elizabeth as Head of Household. Right after the show finished airing on the west coast, CBS turned on the live feeds from the house and we quickly learned which houseguest won this right. Spoilers ahead.
Elizabeth has aligned herself with Omarosa, a one-time player on “The Apprentice.” They think that two of the other four women — actress Marissa Jaret Winokur and Ariadna Gutierrez — have become a little too friendly with TV personality Ross Mathews. And they have all but written off Brandi Glanville of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” fame.
They are hoping that actress Keshia Knight Pulliam will side with them, especially as she is the one who won the Right to Recast. Currently, she endorses their decision to nominate two of the five men for eviction: singer Jason Maslow, who lost the Head of Household competition to Elizabeth, and UFC mixed martial artist Chuck Liddell. However, Liddell could get thrown a lifeline by Pulliam if she is swayed by Mathews.
