The fifth live eviction on “Celebrity Big Brother” is set for Friday (Feb. 22). At the end of the Feb. 19 episode, Metta World Peace exited the house. The NBA all-star had pleaded with his fellow contestants on this first edition of “CBB” to send him packing and so they did. His sacrifice meant that “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Granville was saved from eviction, thus foiling the plan of Omarosa, who was Head of Household. Following the show, she had to watch as one of the remaining houseguests took part in a competition to determine the next person who would nominate two of the rivals for eviction. Spoilers ahead.
Mark McCrath won this test of endurance and assumed the title of Head of Household. He spent the next 24 hours figuring out what he hopes to be a winning strategy to eliminate two of his remaining rivals and move closer to winning the $250,000 prize. None of the seven players know that they are facing a double eviction on Friday.
McGrath has nominated Granville and beauty queen Ariadna Gutiérrez for eviction, with her sights set firmly on the former as the eventual ejectee. Should one of them win the Power of Veto, he is considering swapping in Omarosa but is still unsure if this would be the right play.
Remember, McGrath was used in this way last Friday when PoV winner James Maslow used it to put him in his place in the eviction vote against Shannon Elizabeth. To that end, McGrath is thinking about using actress Marissa Janet Winokur as the substitute for Gutiérrez if she wins the PoV.
