‘Celebrity Big Brother’ spoiler: Two nominees for eviction by third Head of Household are …

While we won’t know who will be the third houseguest evicted from “Celebrity Big Brother” until Friday’s live episode, the new Head of Household has determined the two that will face a jury of their peers. The outcome of the second live eviction on “Celebrity Big Brother” on Sunday (Feb. 11) was a surprise when actress Keshia Knight Pulliam (“The Cosby Show”) pleaded with her housemates to send her packing. Her decision meant that actress Shannon Elizabeth, who was the first HoH, got a stay of execution. But for how long? Spoilers ahead.

Beauty queen Ariadna Gutierrez  is the third Head of Household and has put Elizabeth forward for elimination once again. She will face singer James Maslow, who avoided the boot in the first elimination, in Friday’s live vote overseen by host Julie Chen.

Gutierrez has aligned herself with two of the other women remaining in the house — “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Granville and actress Marissa Janet Winokur — as well as TV personality Ross Mathews, who was the second HoH. They had considered a strategy where they sent Elizabeth home via the backdoor. But it was decided, for once in this game of deceit and deception, to be upfront with her.

The three women in the alliance remain wary of Mathews as he is also trying to curry favor with one of the other men still in the competition, singer Mark McGrath. And he suggested that another man, NBA all-star Metta World Peace, be put forward for elimination, along with Omarosa, as a ruse before swapping one of them out for Elizabeth.

While it looks like Elizabeth’s days are numbered, she could save herself if she wins the Power of Veto competition. We should know the results of that in advance of Wednesday’s episode. Stay tuned.
