Monday’s second live eviction on “Celebrity Big Brother” was a shocker with actress Keshia Knight Pulliam (“The Cosby Show”) asking her housemates to send her home. That sudden change of heart meant that actress Shannon Elizabeth was spared the chop.
As Head of Household, TV personality Ross Mathews had been considering a strategy in which one-time HoH Elizabeth was sent home via the backdoor. He is aligned with three of the other women in the house — “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Granville, beauty queen Ariadna Gutierrez and actress Marissa Janet Winokur — as well as teammate singer Mark McGrath. One of his new allies now holds the power as the third Head of Household. Spoilers ahead.
Gutierrez is the new HoH. We know from the live feeds that she is planning on putting Elizabeth forward for elimination. And we expect that singer James Maslow, who avoided the boot in the first elimination, will also be a candidate in Friday’s live vote overseen by host Julie Chen.
Omarosa continues to generate both headlines outside the house and tension within it. She is hoping to influence Guitterez prior to her announcement of the nominees on Tuesday. Also looking to make a move forward is NBA all-star Metta World Peace, who has spent much of first week of the show in the background.
