CMA Awards 2018 winners: Best prediction scores by our Editors and Users

Congratulations to our User Gabe for a great score of 63.64% when predicting the 2018 Country Music Association Awards winners on Wednesday. He is actually tied with Eric10375 at the same score but has the better point score total of 5,134 by using the 500 super bets wisely.

Almost 400 people worldwide predicted these CMA Awards winners in 11 categories. The awards ceremony was held in Nashville and was hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. For an event loaded with surprises, our top scorer got seven winners correct. Those included Male Vocalist (Chris Stapleton), Female Vocalist (Underwood), New Artist (Luke Combs), Vocal Duo (Brothers Osborne) and Album of the Year (Kacey Musgraves).

You can see how your score compares to all others in our leaderboard rankings of all contestants, which also includes links to see each participant’s predictions. To see your own scores, go to the User menu in the top right corner of every page of Gold Derby when you’re signed in to the site. Use the drop down menu to go to “View Profile,” then look for the links to your “Award Show Scores.” Gold Derby must evaluate each potential winner’s eligibility as per our contest rules. If eligible, the first-place finisher receives a $100 Amazon gift card.

For the four Editors predicting all the categories, I am in the first spot with 45.45%. Marcus Dixon is next with 36.36% and then Paul Sheehan with 27.27% and Daniel Montgomery with 18.18%. See Editors’ scores.
