When the results were revealed on “America’s Got Talent,” magician Shin Lim squeaked out a win over dance troupe Zurcaroh in the closest vote ever. We had been expecting it to be a tight race between Shin Lim and teen singing sensation Courtney Hadwin but she did not even make the top 5. That this frontrunner loses “AGT” was a shock. Did America make the right choice?
Should Zurcaroh, which was Tyra Banks‘ Golden Buzzer act, have beaten Shin Lim to claim the $1 million prize? And did Courtney deserve to at least be in the final countdown? Vote in our poll below as to whether these results were fair or not.
Following Shin Lim in first place and Zurcaroh in second place, electric violinist Brian King Joseph came in third, stand up Samuel J. Comrie was fourth, and singer Michael Ketterer placed fifth. Besides Courtney, the acts who finished between sixth and tenth places, in no particular order, were: stand-up comedian Vicki Barbolak; singers Daniel Emmet and Glennis Grace; and trapeze artists Duo Transcend.
