The line-up for the next season of “Dancing With the Stars” was revealed on “Good Morning America” on April 13. While that’s a Friday, it is bound to be a lucky day for one of the nine sports stars cast in this special edition of the Emmy-winning reality competition series. When does season 26 start?
“Dancing With the Stars: Athletes” is set to premiere on ABC on Monday, April 30 and will lead into the live results on “American Idol.”
How long will this season run?
These athletes will be working overtime as this edition will be only four weeks long. Compare that to upwards of 10 for previous seasons.
When is the finale?
There will be double eliminations each week and the finale is set to air on Monday, May 21.
Who is hosting?
Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews will be back as hosts.
Who are the judges?
Likewise, Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli are all returning to the judges table.
Who is the producer?
Behind the scenes, there is a new showrunner, Andrew Llinares, who worked with Simon Cowell on “Britain’s Got Talent” and the UK version of “The X Factor.”
