The first ever season of “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” is coming together. Set to premiere on Sunday night, October 7, we now know the hosts (Frankie Muniz and Jordan Fisher) the judges (Val Chmerkovskiy, Mandy Moore and Adam Rippon), and now the full list of young pros and adult mentors. See the list below and scroll down to the video introduction posted on August 1 by the official “DWTS: Juniors” Twitter.
Pro JT Church with mentor Alan Bersten
Pro Tristan Ianiero with mentor Artem Chigvintsev
Pro Artyon Celestine with mentor Brandon Armstrong
Pro Hailey Bills with mentor Jenna Johnson
Pro Rylee Arnold with mentor Lindsay Arnold
Pro Kameron Couch with mentor Hayley Erbert
Pro Lev Khmelev with mentor Keo Motsepe
Pro Jake Monreal with mentor Sasha Farber
Pro Sage Rosen with mentor Gleb Savchenko
Pro Brightyn Brems with mentor Cheryl Burke
Pro Kamri Peterson with mentor Witney Carson
Pro Elliana Walmsley with mentor Emma Slater
Among those pros are several past Mirror Ball champions. Johnson just won “DWTS: Athletes” this past spring with “Juniors” judge Adam Rippon. Arnold won the season before that with “Juniors” co-host Jordan Fisher. Carson won season 19 with Alfonso Ribeiro. And Cheryl Burke, the only two-time champ among the mentors, prevailed with Drew Lachey (season 2) and Emmitt Smith (season 3).
Since they bring winning experience to the dance floor perhaps that gives their tykes an edge. Arnold might especially have an advantage since her young pro is actually her little sister. And dance clearly runs in the Arnold family: another sister, Jensen Arnold, is among the top 10 contestants currently competing on “So You Think You Can Dance” this season.
Who are you most excited when the kids hit the dance floor?
