After the song she thanked the audience and said, “I can’t do my first Christmas special without my friends, right? Everybody give it up for my Golden Buzzer buddy Petunia!”

Petunia took issue with the way she was introduced, asking, “Um, Darci, what is this ‘my Golden Buzzer buddy’ stuff? I’m pretty sure I got the Golden Buzzer, so that makes you my Golden Buzzer buddy.” Petunia then took a jab at her human companion, joking, “By the way, I noticed that you’re getting good at singing with your mouth open. Don’t get used to it. People expect to see me.”
