Emmys 2018 exclusive: Funny Or Die submissions for ‘Gay of Thrones,’ Sarah Silverman and more

In a Gold Derby exclusive, we have learned the submissions of the key Emmy Awards contenders for Funny Or Die. The online company founded by Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Chris Henchy has had several nominations in the past and has won twice for “Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis” (2014, 2015).

Funny Or Die has several linear programs eligible for the Emmys this year in various categories airing on other networks. That list includes “American Vandal” (Netflix), “@Midnight” (Comedy Central), “Brockmire” (IFC), “The Chris Gethard Show” (truTV), “I Love You, America with Sarah Silverman” (Hulu) and “No Activity” (CBS All Access).

For their own submissions, the company has the following:

“Gay of Thrones” eligible for Short-Form Variety Series and is a previous Emmy nominee. It is produced by Jonathan Van Ness and Erin Gibson.

“I Love You, America with Sarah Silverman: Push the Love” is a companion show eligible for Short Form Comedy or Drama Series.

“No Activity: Off the Record is a companion program eligible for Short Form Comedy or Drama Series.

“Transparent: The Lost Sessions” is a companion show eligible for Short Form Comedy or Drama Series (directed by the Amazon program’s Amy Landecker).

“Zack Morris is Trash,” created by Dashiell Driscoll, is eligible for Short Form Comedy or Drama Series.
