ESPY Awards 2018 winners: Best prediction scores by our Editors and Users

Congratulations to our User bojanglesoup for a great score of 57.14% when predicting the 2018 ESPY Awards winners on Wednesday. He is actually tied with five others — Juliana Vitoff, tjseher, darioc, Isaac Burleigh and Chris James — but has the best point score total of 3,849 by using the 500 super bets wisely.

Almost 200 people worldwide predicted these sports champs in seven categories. The awards ceremony was held in Los Angeles and was hosted by Danica Patrick. Our top scorer got four correct: Best Male Athlete (Alexander Ovechkin), Best Female Athlete (Chloe Kim), Best Championship Performance (Nick Foles) and Best Game (U.S. womens hockey team defeats Canada).

You can see how your score compares to all others in our leaderboard rankings of all contestants, which also includes links to see each participant’s predictions. To see your own scores, go to the User menu in the top right corner of every page of Gold Derby when you’re signed in to the site. Use the drop down menu to go to “View Profile,” then look for the links to your “Award Show Scores.” Gold Derby must evaluate each potential winner’s eligibility as per our contest rules. If eligible, the first-place finisher receives a $100 Amazon gift card.

For the four Editors making predictions, I am in first place with 42.86%. Joyce Eng and Daniel Montgomery are tied for second with 28.57%. Marcus Dixon is next with 14.29%. See Editors’ leaderboard.
