Evan Rachel Wood (‘Westworld’) Emmy episode revealed for Best Drama Actress (Exclusive)

Gold Derby can exclusively reveal that Evan Rachel Wood is entering the “Westworld” episode “Reunion” as her Emmy submission for Best Drama Actress. This installment aired April 29 and was the second episode of the second season for the HBO show.

In this flashback-heavy segment, Dolores (Wood) is seen in three different timelines. She and Arnold (Jeffrey Wright) are in the outside world during the time Westworld was being developed and sold. She and the younger William (Jimmi Simpson) have differences before the corporate takeover. She and other hosts continue to build their new army for a rebellion.

Wood was nominated last year in this category and had another in 2011 for “Mildred Pierce.” For the 2018 ceremony, she faces off against last year’s champ Elisabeth Moss (“The Handmaid’s Tale”), the previous year’s winner Tatiana Maslany (“Orphan Black”), plus previous nominees Claire Foy (“The Crown”), Sandra Oh (“Killing Eve”) and Keri Russell (“The Americans”).
