The Future Kingz kick off ‘America’s Got Talent’ live show, but Mel B isn’t ‘impressed’ with their choreography [WATCH]

Chicago dance group The Future Kingz returned to “America’s Got Talent” 2018 this week to perform live from the Dolby Theatre in the Quarterfinals 3 episode. In the past the dancers have been overshadowed by their youngest member, but this time around they were all praised. However, “AGT” judge Mel B ruined the mood by claiming she “wasn’t impressed” with the Future Kingz’s choreography. Do you agree? Watch the “Americas Got Talent” performance video above, read the judges’ comments below, and make your predictions for which seven acts will advance to the Semifinals.

Simon Cowell: “I am giving you a standing ovation, one, for the performance and, two, for who you are as people. Because you are some of the nicest guys we’ve ever had on this show, genuinely. You are so sincere, you’re so focused. That was like watching a very cool commercial. That’s the best compliment I can give.”

Howie Mandel: “You know, everything he said. Your synchronicity, your athleticism, and what you mean to each other. This very diverse group in ages, it’s wonderful to see you come together. What a way to open the show. I’m so excited. America has to vote.”

Mel B: “I’m gonna keep this short and sweet. Some of the choreography I wasn’t impressed with. But what I am impressed with is how united you are in your strength and your loyalty. And I love how cool and edgy you are. But you’ve gotta step up the choreography, please.”

Heidi Klum: “Yeah, I liked it. It felt like an old school kind of a dance-off. So thanks for bringing the party to the Dolby tonight.”

In his “AGT” live blog our recapper John Benutty had this to say about the performance: “Kicking off this third night of performances was The Future Kingz, the all-male and varying in ages dance crew who created a family dynamic among themselves. Their routine took inspiration from the music of Kanye West and other hip hop artists and featured mostly break dancing. Simon called their dance a ‘very cool commercial,’ but focused more on how pleasant they are as humans. Mel, too, was impressed by their energy and unity, but pulled back a bit by admitting that she wasn’t as into some of their choreography tonight.”
