Golden Globes TV predictions by category: ‘Big Little Lies’ will win 4, ‘Handmaid’s Tale’ and ‘Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ will take 2 each

When the 2018 Globe Globe winners are announced January 7 on NBC, look for HBO’s “Big Little Lies” to be the night’s biggest champion with a whopping four victories. Meanwhile, Hulu’s “The Handmaid’s Tale” and Amazon’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” are expected to win two each. Altogether, this trio of shows is predicted to come away with eight of the 11 TV prizes, suggesting this may not be a spreading-the-wealth type of the year that the Golden Globes are typically known for. Scroll down to see the complete list of Golden Globes TV predictions by category, according to Gold Derby’s exclusive racetrack odds. Predicted winners are in gold.

Just a few months ago, limited series “Big Little Lies” and drama series “The Handmaid’s Tale” swept the Emmy Awards, both taking home a whopping eight trophies. “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” was not eligible for that Emmy cycle, as it just streamed on November 29. Instead, the comedy series Emmy champ was “Veep,” which was strangely snubbed at the Golden Globes. Find out who wins in all of the 2018 Golden Globes categories when Seth Meyers hosts the 75th annual edition of these kudos on Sunday night.
