93% of ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ fans are thrilled Jen Gavin flamed out early: It was her time to go [POLL RESULTS]

When it comes to the firing of controversial chef-testant Jen Gavin, “Hell’s Kitchen: Rookies vs. Veterans” viewers are nearly unanimous: It was her time to go. That’s how a whopping 93% of Gold Derby readers voted in our recent poll when we asked whether they were happy Jen flamed out early. Conversely, only 7% responded that they wanted her to stick around longer. Let us know how YOU feel by sounding off down in the comments section.

“Jen accused me of sabotaging her,” Chef Gordon Ramsay declared after he gave her the boot during the middle of dinner service. “The truth of the matter is the only thing that sabotaged Jen tonight was her cooking.” Jen’s goose was cooked when she went into a fiery outburst after her duck garnish went missing, even going so far as to blame Ramsay for hiding it (he didn’t).

Despite the dishonorable way in which she left, Jen held her head high as she exited through the busy dining room and out the front door. “At the end of the day I have an entire business at home waiting on me,” she announced, referring to her line of cooking jackets. “I have accomplished a lot of things.”

But then a different side of Jen came out when she hilariously threatened Ramsay, saying, “I wish I would have told him to take that blue chef jacket and stuff it so far up his a** he starts coughing out blueberries. That’s what the hell I wish I would have told him.”

Four episodes of “Hells Kitchen” Season 18 have aired so far, with Jen being sent home from the Veterans and Scott Popvic being let go from the Rookies. At the end of the fourth hour Ramsay made the shocking decision to put an end to the “Rookies vs. Veterans” twist and instead divide the teams by gender. Find out how the “Battle of the Sexes” plays out Friday, November 2 on Fox.
