Josh Davis (‘Too Good at Goodbyes’) earns Kelly Clarkson’s final red jacket on ‘The Voice’ Season 15 [WATCH]

Monday night during Night 7 of “The Voice” Season 15, personal trainer Josh Davis took on Sam Smith‘s “Too Good at Goodbyes” and caused two coaches to turn their chairs around: Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson. Kelly and Josh bonded over Josh’s hometown of Cleveland, Tennessee, which no doubt helped him choose to become the final artist on her team. Watch NBC’s “The Voice” blind audition video above and read the coaches’ comments below.

“I love your voice, man,” Kelly told Josh while trying to woo him over to her team. “I have a lot of female power on my team and I need men that can sing and hang with women and that is your voice. Your runs are so effortless. And then you went for that high stuff? I mean, it’s sexy. Yeah, I like it.” Jennifer agreed with everything Kelly had to say.

Since Adam Levine and Blake Shelton were bored with Kelly and Jennifer’s deliberations, they decided to spice things up. Blake reminded Josh that Jennifer was an Oscar winner and a Broadway star, while Adam told Josh that Kelly is a “beast vocally.” When Josh decided to pick Kelly, she jumped up excitedly and then ran over to him with her final red jacket of Season 15.

In his “The Voice” live blog, our recapper John Benutty had this to say about the performance: “20 year old personal trainer Josh Davis was up next with his rendition of Sam Smith‘s ‘Too Good at Goodbyes,’ a song he chose to represent his taste as a pop and soul artist. Because she was looking to fill her roster with another male artist, Kelly hit her button for Josh early on. Jennifer also jumped into the ring for Josh, but after a quick deliberation he stuck with Kelly and completed her team!”
