We bow down to Juan Pablo Di Pace (‘Dancing with the Stars’): His Halloween jive was ‘sheer perfection’ [WATCH]

Well if nothing else, the guy has got range. After Juan Pablo Di Pace slayed Latin styles on “Dancing with the Stars” he waltzed as Gaston on Disney Night and then jived as a pharaoh on Halloween. Those performances completed his journey back to perfection after it looked like he might have peaked too soon in the competition for the Mirror Ball Trophy. Watch his jive above.

The judges surprised audiences — not to mention Di Pace and his partner Cheryl Burke — by giving him a perfect 30 out of 30 in week three on Most Memorable Year Night. But his numbers dropped like a stone the very next week when on Trios Night he only received 8s, and even Di Pace and Burke wondered if their perfect score was too much too soon. But their Disney routine got them back in the swing of things when they drew 10s again from Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli, and his Halloween number was even better.

In fact, it was “sheer perfection,” according to Inaba. Len Goodman added, “I saw nothing I didn’t like.” And Tonioli agreed: “I bow to thee, your majesty … Perfection all the way through.” He got 10s yet again from Inaba and Tonioli, but this time Goodman broke out his 10 paddle too, returning Di Pace to the summit. Not only was this his second perfect score, it was his fifth time atop the judges’ leaderboard.

But it wasn’t lonely at the top. This time he had to share his perfect spotlight with Milo Manheim, who scored 30 out of 30 for his deranged contemporary dance that opened the show. That was Manheim’s fourth time on top, so this season is starting to look like a two-way race for the title between these two contenders. But which perfect dance was more perfect? Vote in our poll below to let us know who you think was the best of the night.
