Kymberli Joye sparkles like ‘Diamonds’ during ‘The Voice’ live playoffs: ‘Not on my best day could I do that,’ says Kelly Clarkson [WATCH]

During Monday’s live episode of “The Voice” Season 15, soul singer Kymberli Joye of Team Kelly Clarkson performed “Diamonds” for America’s votes. This week’s Top 13 theme was “Dedications,” so Kymberli announced that she was dedicating her performance to her little sister. Do you think Kymberli will advance to next week’s Top 11? Watch “The Voice” live playoff video above and then make your predictions at Gold Derby.

“You’re the best kind of vocalist in the sense that you sing it different every time,” Kelly told Kymberli as her two siblings watched proudly from the audience. “And so it’s a show every time. It’s like going to a Broadway show [where] everybody’s different every night. It’s so wonderful that every time you just have this innate way about yourself.”

Kelly continued, “You just, you love to sing and it’s just a simple thing like that and I think we forget that sometimes. You love to be in the moment and it’s so beautiful to watch. And your runs — not on my best day could I do that. Like, you’re insane. Everybody vote for Kymberli!”

Prior to this performance of “Diamonds,” Kymberli sang “Run to You” in the blind auditions, “Mercy” in the battles, “The Middle” in the knockouts and “Radioactive” in the Top 26.

In his “The Voice” live blog, our recapper Denton Davidson had this to say about the live performance: “Next from Team Kelly is Kymberli Joye dedicating ‘Diamonds’ by Rihanna to her little sister, who also has aspirations to be a professional singer. Kymberli is the first artist of the night who seemed completely ready for this moment. Her voice is perfection from the first note and I love the inflections she brings with her voice. She slowly builds the song before reaching her powerful belting range. It was a beautiful rendition of the song, but only her coach, Kelly, got off her seat at the end.”
