Larry David (‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’) Emmy episode revealed for Best Comedy Actor (Exclusive)

Gold Derby can exclusively reveal that Larry David is entering the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” episode “Fatwa!” as his Emmy submission for Best Comedy Actor. This installment aired December 3 and was the 10th and final episode of the ninth season for the HBO show.

In this segment, Larry has his musical “Fatwa!” in previews and starring Lin-Manuel Miranda and F. Murray Abraham. After arguments over the direction of the show, the entire cast and crew plan a fun paintball event. But it ends with all-out war as Larry shoots Lin in the throat with a blue pellet while dueling with him “Hamilton”-style.

David now has his 26th and 27th Emmy nominations this year for both producing and acting. He won twice in 1993 for writing and producing “Seinfeld.”  For his acting category in 2018, he faces off with defending champ Donald Glover (“Atlanta”), previous winners Ted Danson (“The Good Place”), Bill Hader (“Barry”) and William H. Macy (“Shameless”), plus returning nominee Anthony Anderson (“Black-ish”).
