Netflix kicked off Emmy season by opening their official FYSEE space on Sunday, May 6. Housed in a soundstage at the Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, CA, it’s a massive display showcasing several of their top contenders, including newcomers “GLOW,” “Mindhunter” and “Ozark,” as well as returning competitors “The Crown,” “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” and “Stranger Things,” to name just a few. The space is an interactive maze celebrating the arts and crafts of Netflix shows. Emmy voters can travel through the Upside Down and emerge in a retro ’80s arcade for “Stranger Things,” or transport themselves to the early days of Queen Elizabeth II with a lavish display of costumes from “The Crown.” They can have their fortunes told by Count Olaf from “A Series of Unfortunate Events,” or take on an opponent on in a VR wrestling ring from “GLOW.” And that’s just a small taste of what’s in store for visitors.

The streaming giant first broke into the Emmy race with “House of Cards” in 2013. Since then, they’ve amassed 225 nominations and 43 wins. Last year they took home major trophies for “The Crown” (Drama Supporting Actor for John Lithgow), “Master of None” (Best Comedy Series Writing) and “Black Mirror: San Junipero” (Best TV Movie and Best Movie/Mini Writing). “Stranger Things” also cleaned up at the Creative Arts Emmys with five victories.

The Netflix FYSEE space will be open for six weeks, during which several panels and events will take place. Take your own tour through the area by watching our exclusive video above.
