‘Project Runway All Stars’ elimination predictions: Anthony Williams gets 17/10 odds of going home first in season 6

Project Runway All Starsseason six premieres tonight on Lifetime, but even though all 16 designers have competed in one or more previous versions of the series it’s hard to know before the competition begins who will stay and who will go. Nevertheless our users are boldly forecasting an early exit for Anthony Williams. He gets leading odds of 17/10, which translates to a 36.87% chance of being eliminated first.

This season of “All Stars” has a unique conceit. Out of the 16 designers, eight of them are “rookies” who have never competed on “All Stars” before. The other eight are “veterans” who have competed in both the original series and in a previous season of “All Stars,” which means this will be their third appearance on “Runway.” Perhaps that will give them the competitive advantage that comes with experience. However, Williams is actually one of the veterans, though his previous two outings yielded mixed results.

In season seven of the original series Williams was eliminated in seventh place but returned to the show after the withdrawal of another contestant, Maya Luz. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it much further after his return: he was eliminated again in fifth place. Then he took part in the very first season of “All Stars” in 2012, but that time he only lasted a few weeks, finishing ninth. Can he defy the odds and redeem himself on his third try?

If so, Carlos Casanova might be at risk in week one. He ranks second in our predictions with 7/2 odds, or a 22.08% chance of elimination. Casanova is also a veteran, but he too has had mixed results. In season eight of the original series he finished 10th. Then in “All Stars” season two he improved, but still only made it to seventh place.
