‘Project Runway All Stars’ predictions: Will Merline Labissiere be out, or out of this world in episode 7?

Merline Labissiere has had a number of close calls this season on “Project Runway All Stars” already. She actually won the very first challenge of the season, impressing the judges with her autumn design in the opening team challenge. Then she got a high score in week two, “Damsels in Distress.” But she spent three of the next four weeks in the bottom three, and two of those times she was in the bottom two and just barely avoided elimination. Will she dodge yet another bullet?

Every week we poll “Project Runway” fans for their expert predictions, and this week they still say Stanley Hudson will be on the chopping block, as they did when we checked in on our predictions this time last week. He gets leading odds of 27/10 based on those combined predictions, which translates to a 27.21% chance of being sent home. Of course, that means there’s almost a 73% chance that he’ll stick around, which shows just how divided our users are in picking the ouster in episode seven.

Joshua McKinley ranks second in our predictions with 4/1 odds, or a 20.1% chance of elimination, so he’s in almost as much danger as Hudson. He actually won the last design challenge, “Thrown for a Loop by Betty Boop,” though many of our users didn’t agree with the judges’ decision to give him the victory. Could he really go home immediately after winning a challenge? His designs certainly walk a fine line in their risque and provocative styles, so perhaps he’ll cross that line and get on the judges’ bad side.

Then there’s Labissiere, close behind with 11/2 odds, or a 15.67% chance of elimination. If she wants to last another week she’ll have to knock it out of the park. If she’s anywhere near the bottom three again, it’s hard to imagine the judges’ giving her a fourth second chance.
