‘Big Brother 20’ Week 5 eviction: Did you want Rachel Swindler or Brett Robinson eliminated from #BB20?

Rachel Swindler was the fifth houseguest to be evicted on “Big Brother” season 20, losing by just a single vote on the live eviction show of August 2. While she managed to convince four of the other #BB20 contestants to keep her in the house, her rival, Brett Robinson, got the five votes needed to stay.

They had been put on the chopping block by Bayleigh Drayton, a 25-year-old flight attendant from Atlanta, who reigned as the fifth Head of Household. Are you sorry to see Rachel go so soon? Vote in our poll below and then sound off in the comments section.

Voting to send Rachel — a a 29-year-old Las Vegas showgirl — packing were Sam Bledsoe, Kaycee Clark, Tyler Crispen, JC Mounduix and Angela Rummans. Voting to evict Brett — a 25-year-old cybersecurity engineer from Charlestown, MA — were: Haleigh Broucher, Angie “Rockstar” LantryScottie Salton and Faysal Shafaat.

While this was Rachel’s first time on the chopping block, Brett had faced the jury of his fellow houseguests once before. In Week 3, he narrowly escaped elimination as Winston Hines was sent on his way by a vote of six to five.

In her post-exit interview with Julie Chen, Rachel readily admitted to being blindsided. She explained that she had been told by Bayleigh that she was a pawn and has no idea who double-crossed her. After Julie tells her, Rachel is shellshocked that Kaycee and Angela stabbed her in the back. Indeed, she was so upset that she told Julie she didn’t want to watch the goodbye messages from these two so-called friends.
