Season 3 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” ended with a shocker. Heading into the final Shangela was expected to win but she was bounced from the final four as was BeBe Zahara Benet. That surprise move by the six queens who had been axed earlier from the show meant that Kennedy Davenport and Trixie Mattel were pitted against each other in the final showdown.
Did you agree with RuPaul Charles that Trixie nailed the final lip sync challenge? Was she better at working her rendition of the Miley Cyrus hit “Wrecking Ball” or did Davenport deserve the title? Along with the bragging rights, Trixie wins a whopping $100,000. And she joins Alaska and Chad Michaels in “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Hall of Fame.
Trixie had only made it to sixth place on season seven of the original show. She teared up as she accepted her crown and promised, “I know you guys are looking for someone who can carry a legacy. As an all star I feel like I’ve been carrying that legacy since I left the first time, so this means a lot. Thank you very much.”
Are you happy that Trixie took the title or did you want to see one of the other three queens win? Vote in our poll below and be sure to sound off in the comments section.
