Tourette’s comedian Samuel J. Comroe woofs it with dog jokes in ‘America’s Got Talent’ quarterfinals [WATCH]

Stand-up comedian Samuel J. Comroe returned to the “America’s Got Talent” stage this week for the Quarterfinals 2 episode at the Dolby Theatre. As usual, the 30-year-old had “AGT” judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel laughing, but this time he switched things up by telling jokes about dogs as opposed to his own Tourette syndrome. For the first time, he actually received mixed reviews from the judges. Do YOU think Samuel will advance to the Semifinals? Watch the “Americas Got Talent” performance video above and read the judges’ comments below.

Howie: “Okay, first of all, well done. I have to say, when you came out the first time you talked about Tourette’s. This time I didn’t see any Tourette’s except for the video guy that’s operating the video behind you. I don’t know, there’s something going behind you which is for a comedian incredible distracting. I think the audience was looking at the wall. It’s still going on. You still worked through adversity and we love you and good job and hopefully they can get the video wall fixed.”

Heidi: “See, I really, really, really like you. And I really, really like your delivery. I just didn’t love what you were delivering. I’m sorry, I just have to tell you what I think. To me it wasn’t your strongest performance today. But that’s just me.”

Simon: “Samuel, you are amazing, by the way. I really like you. I really hope America gets behind you.”

Mel: “I love you!”

During his “AGT” live blog, our recapper John Benutty summarized, “One of the judges’ favorite during the auditions was Samuel J. Comroe who delivered a comedy set tonight in front of probably the biggest audience of his life. All of his jokes were about a dog he and his wife adopted, which Howie was happy to see since his previous acts focused more on his Tourettes. Heidi was vocal about how much she loves Samuel as a personality, but unfortunately she wasn’t on board with his set tonight.”
