Sibling band We Three rocks ‘America’s Got Talent’ stage with original song ‘Lifeline’ [WATCH]

The last time sibling band We Three appeared on “America’s Got Talent,” they made judge Mel B tear up after singing a tribute song to their mother. For their encore performance in the Judge Cuts 3 episode they took on another original, “Lifeline,” about dealing with your demons. All five “AGT” judges — Mel, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Martina McBride — gave a rousing standing ovation, and We Three easily advanced to the live rounds on NBC’s reality TV show. Watch the “Americas Got Talent” performance video above and read the judges’ comments below.

Mel: “I just love, love, love everything about you guys. Your passion, the music, the words, the lyrics, just everything. I want you there in those live shows, I really do, guys. I really believe in you all.”

Martina: “You know, I’ve had a really good career with songs that affect people and make a difference in somebody’s life. But from the very first line — that was one of the best first lines I’ve ever heard. Just so vulnerable and real and I think that people need to hear that song and more from you guys.”

Heidi: “I love you guys, too. When you stand there and when we chat to you guys you seem so humble and down to earth. And then when you start singing you really like knock it out of the park.”

Howie: “You know, the one word that comes to mind — and it’s kind of corny — but it’s ‘beautiful.’ You guys are beautiful. Today you tell a story about the trials and tribulations of just trying to get through life. We’re all human, we’re all flawed, we all have hard times. I love you guys and I think that you’re on your way to greatness.”

Simon: “The great thing about you guys is that you need nothing from us other than a platform because it all comes from you. The last line that you sang, ‘I’m just trying to be real,’ actually is what it’s all about. This will work if you write songs yourselves. And you’re gonna find out if we’re right or not because this should resonate really quickly. I have a feeling this is gonna happen.”

In his “AGT” live blog, our recapper John Benutty wrote, “Sibling band We Three won over the judges with their first audition with a song about their mom who passed away. Tonight their song ‘Lifeline’ is about ‘dealing with your demons’ and earned, I think, the first full standing ovation from the judges. Mel gushed about their lyrics and passion, Martina recognized their talent for creating vulnerable lyrics that touch people and Heidi loved how humble they are.”
