‘Survivor’ 36 episode 4 preview: Chris Noble voted off Ghost Island?

The new version of the Maolo tribe will win both the Reward and Immunity challenges on the March 14 episode of “Survivor: Ghost Island.” That will put someone from the Naviti tribe in the crosshairs for elimination at the end of the episode entitled “Trust Your Gut.” It looks like Chris Noble, who was one of the original members of that team, will be sent packing at the tribal council. After the swap in episode three, the Naviti tribe is comprised of three original members besides Noble — Domenick Abbate, Wendell Holland and Angela Perkins — and four Malolo players: Donathan Hurley, Laurel Johnson, James Lim and Libby Vincek. If Noble is bounced, that means that some of his original teammates turned against him.

The Malolo tribe still has Jenna Bowman, Stephanie JohnsonBrendan Shapiro and Michael Yerger. They were joined by one-time Naviti tribe members Desiree Afuye, Kellyn BechtoldBradley Kleihege, Sebastian Noel and Chelsea Townsend.

Maolo went into episode four hot off of wins over the Naviti tribe in both challenges shown on episode three, “Only Time Will Tell.” As always, Jeff Probst oversaw the Reward Challenge on episode four; this one sent the tribes into the water. The members of each these newly-formed tribes, who were recently rivals, must work together against the other team in a tug-of-war in the waves. But rather than a rope, they must pull a life preserver to their respective tribal flag.

It looks like Maolo wins this Reward Challenge and we also expect them to take the Immunity Challenge. That one also sends the members of the tribe into the water. This time they had to retrieve a large chest from inside a wooden cage and bring it back to shore where it was placed on a track. At that point, they attached it to a rope and maneuvered it down the track to the finish line.
